Situated in the grounds of Ráth Mór complex, the Pat Mulkeen Memorial Community Garden was officially opened on 11 April 2014 by Pat’s daughter Laura.

The garden, designed to be an oasis of calm and reflection, is open daily to the public and is populated by a wide variety of wild flowers and vegetables.

The garden is also dedicated to the memory of Lorraine Plummer, a local horticulturist and photographer.

A central feature of the garden is a sculpture by internationally renowned artist Maurice Harron entitled Celebrate.
